The origin of the Nutcracker:

  One hundred years ago, on Christmas Eve, a celebration party was held at the home of Dr. Stahlbaum in the Germanic town. His two children, Clara and Fritz, looked at the beautiful Christmas tree with admiration. Dusselmel gave his goddaughter Clara a special Christmas gift - a nutcracker in the shape of an officer. And my brother wants it, too. He took the nutcracker out of Clara's hand and accidentally broke it, but Dusselmel soon repaired it again. It was night, but Clara could not sleep. She stole out of bed and crept down the stairs to look at her beloved nutcracker. When she reached the hall, she found the nutcracker and climbed onto the sofa with it in her arms, only to fall asleep in the shadow.

At that moment the clock struck twelve and a shadow shook the hall, when suddenly a great crowd of rats burst into the living room, scurried about, and began to attack Clara. Then Grandpa Dusselmel told Clara that the nutcracker would protect her, and the hall flashed with all the colors of light. Christmas trees grow taller. The Nutcracker comes to life and leads a group of toys to fight the rat soldiers. The rat is strong, the nutcracker is weak. Clara picked up a sword, ran at the mouse King and delivered a fatal blow. The mice carried their king away. The Nutcracker is also badly injured, and suddenly by a miracle, the Nutcracker recovers and transforms into a handsome prince who takes Clara to a candy kingdom. They walked through Christmas Wood. A group of snow fairies sang and danced to accompany them, and the prince and the Snow Queen danced a pas de deux. It made Clara's eyes swoon.

Since then, the nutcracker has been a sacred and heroic symbol, and many families and facade companies have placed nutcrackers in various shapes for peace and good luck.
